Frothing Rant

saturday night i couldn't find anyone that would come out and play. so after making many many calls, i decided to strike out on my own. i went to peddler's mall to find some incense and movies. zilch on the movies. but i was still putting out the "come and play with me" vibe. this was noticed by the cutest child. she saw me coming towards her and her mother and and started pointing - and shouting "mommy, look!" i checked and didn't see anything on my shirt or coat that would have prompted that reaction. i didn't look particularly scary. anyway, the mom had several booths there was going up and down the aisles adding items to them. so, i ran into them about every other aisle. each time the little girl would spot me and say "HI!" and would point out her mom and sister. everytime i saw her, it was like she had seen me for the first time. then i went to cici's to witness the troughing of pizza. there was some kind of dance school there and it was like the place was filled with jon benets. girls aged 6, maybe, caked in make-up. it was horrifying. their mothers were even worse. all sniping at each other about how great their daughter was, and star potential. then i went next door to the movie gallery and bought 3 classic stinkers for a total of $6.40. from there i went to the walmart and got bunches of candles - fruit punch and black cherry scented. then home to watch galaxy of the dinosaurs. p.u. but in a good way. sunday i found someone to come out and play and we went to see pieces of april and then went to a thai restaurant. i'm having the leftovers now and i definitely overdid it with the red pepper. oh well. maybe it'll keep me up in the latter hours of today.

maybe someone slipped a pea under the mattress.

i had a dream this morning that i was riding around in a car with some kids that were about 16. the car was really small - like a mr. bean car, or maybe even smaller. anyway, i'm hanging halfway out of the window because i was trying to get out before their little joy ride began. we were speeding down foggy winding roads and tho i was sort of in the driver's seat it was obvious that someone in the passenger seat was steering and excelerating. someone in the backseat was trying to tell the driver that i wasn't hanging out of the window for fun, i was trying to get out. there were cars coming the other way and i was trying to tell the driver to watch the road signs and to slow down. the last thing i remember was seeing the reflection of a large road sign in the back window. it said MERGE.
