Enjoying the cable modem. Been playing around with some VoIP technology. Seems that I can use some of the services to make phone calls. Kinda neat, really. More than that, I am back in contact with the world, but it is contact on my terms. No ringing phones or other such distractions. I can stay in touch with my friends, and still not be bothered at home.

I've done several extensive searches, and none of them seem to attribute that quote to Hubbard. Reading the clambake site, the dude seems to not be making any sense at all. His theories are half baked, his arguments are over simplistic, and he glosses over the fact that he has no corroborating evidence with psychobabble and misdirection.

You really should at least read one of Hubbard's books, before you condemn him as being "unfit for reading". Again, I'm not saying that Dianatics is right; it sounds like a crock to me. But, everyone is biased in some way. The guy who put together the "Operation Clambake" website just seems to be more biased than most. I get the distinct impression that if he burned his toast, it would be the fault of the company that made the toaster, and the cause would be attributed to the company being owned by the Church of Scientology. :-)
