today's breakroom topic: local dress shops not carrying a nice/large enough selection of size 16+ items. woke up late today. late for me anyway. still here with 15 mins to spare. went to the library last night and stayed till closing. all for the sake of surfing and email. a couple of my searches got nuked because of the topic. oh please, local library, save me from myself! i pity the child trying to due research on breast cancer. i found several ways around this censoring. maybe i should teach the child and let him teach others. ok, now the floppy shoes are making me mad. flap flap flap as the heffers trek past. i'm bringing in duct tape or a hot glue gun soon. what is the appeal? is that supposed to be sexy? i can hear you coming from really far away, how arousing! the breakroom is a friggin henhouse lately. bitter old, and not so old hags gabbing and griping about the job, customers, and life. i have a suggestion.... SHUT UP! no wonder people eat at their desk. i may take to that before long. you have a job..sure it's hectic at times, but i'll bet you've had worse. i know i have. and at least here i feel appreciated. other places have pushed and pushed and nary a word of thanks. sure people you work with get on your nerves. they're people, it's in their job description. you could do something drastic, like, i don't know, get a life. you'll find you don't have time to be irritated by others if you keep busy enough. ok, i'm done...... monday. pain on display. throwing up spoken walls to mask it all out. my head hurts. read this book called letters from heaven yesterday. caused a cavity in more ways than one. i don't get this eternity thing. live forever? is that REALLY desirable? visited matt in the hospital last night. he seems in good spirits. hungry as ever. he ate 2 dinners plus the broccoli garlic cheese potato i brought him. frightening. stayed there too late. didn't get to sleep till about 12. still no net at home. travis, for the 3rd time this weekend, has said that he'll work on the server if he gets time. heavy sigh. saw the dangerous lives of altar boys saturday. artsy-yet-standard coming of age tale. it had it's moments. jodie foster plays a pretty good prude. the combination of the main story mixed with animated characters from the comic book was novel, if not entertaining. evil nuns on motorcycles are just funny. |
